Linfield FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Duff as manager of Linfield Ladies FC.

40 year old Mark brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously coached at Glentoran and Cliftonville Ladies, as well as at Cliftonville men's under 19 level and more recently at Loughgall FC.

An A Licence coach, Mark was introduced to the coaches and players prior to training at Olympia Leisure Centre today.

Speaking of his appointment Mark commented : "I'm delighted to have been appointed as manager of Linfield Ladies. I'm really looking forward to pre-season and the start of the new season in the spring. We have a great squad of players here and we know how successful the team was last season, so we want to maintain and build on the momentum that has been built up over the past few years. Obviously, where possible I'll be looking to make one or two additions to the squad but I just can't get wait to get started, as this is a really exciting challenge for me."

Linfield Ladies FC secretary Neil Morrow was equally delighted with the new appointment. "I'm really pleased to welcome Mark to the club. He's highly qualified and experienced and he will already know most of our players as he's been a familiar face in the women's game through his previous involvement with both Glentoran, Cliftonville and indeed ourselves when he was a coach for me during my time as manager. He's keen to build on the terrific progress our team has made in recent seasons and I just want to wish him every success in his new role."

Mark attended yesterday's game at Windsor Park and was photographed below along with Neil Morrow, Linfield Ladies FC secretary and Linfield director Stephen Dickson whose Discount Blinds business has been the proud sponsor of Linfield Ladies FC since the formation of the club.
